While the world’s best golfers were battling it out at the PGA Championship just miles away, Fairways Golf Club in Warrington was staging a launch of its own, writes staff for The Golf Wire.
The club unveiled a new indoor golf simulator suite on May 15 and 16, developed in partnership with Remo Golf, Spirit Golf Management, and Trackman iO.
The centerpiece: Trackman technology, the same performance-tracking system trusted by PGA players and coaches worldwide.
The private simulator suite lets golfers play virtual rounds on world-renowned courses while capturing detailed swing and ball-flight data.
To mark the launch of the suite, the club invited golfers to step into the simulator and test a virtual version of Aronimink Golf Club’s famed par-3 17th hole in a “Closest to the Pin” challenge.
With the new simulator, Fairways gains premium, functional space without a major renovation footprint.
“The installation of the Remo Golf private suite immediately elevates the golf experience at Fairways Golf Club,” said Mike Attara, president of Spirit Golf Management.
Beyond the wow factor, the practical applications are broad.
The suite is set to support private lessons, junior programming, club fitting, and competitive league play, making it a year-round asset for golfers of all levels, rain or shine.
